If you’d like a tour of the UK's oldest and newest city, you have chosen the right guide! My name is Andrew Mowbray and I am a fully qualified and experienced Colchester Tour Guide who loves sharing the history of our city with everyone who visits. Every location I go to has a story to tell and I love being the storyteller. ​I offer walking tours of Colchester, either at prearranged times, or at a time to suit you.

 

If you would like a tour of Colchester, but can’t get here, you wish to do a preview before you visit or you just don’t want to go out in the cold, I can take you on a virtual tour from the comfort of your own home or wherever you happen to be.

 

As well as tours I offer talks on local history and also astronomy which can be held at your meeting venue or online.
